big modulus divider with reset

If you wanted to have a counter that divided by some big number, like 655,000,000 but periodically you wanted to reset it so that it would start counting again with all 0's in the registers, how would you do that? Input is 655 MHz.
I can see stringing together a couple of off-the-shelf prescalars to get the divisor right, but they are not resettable/presettable. Does somebody make a chip out there with a reset pin?

ECL D-FF with a reset input. Check ONSemi website. I've done a counter upto approx. 2GHz by a chain of D-FFs. When the frequency was low enough, I've used the PIC for the remaining division/counting.
