analog frequency divider

Hello,

Please recommend a book/paper about analog frequency dividers with a few design exmples.
Those circuits are stable and reliable enough to be used? A good usable domain higher than fmax/fmin=1.1 can be obtained, or these circuits have very narrow bandwidth?
