I'm new to broadcasting. I would like to setup a radio link from an fm radio station . The operating frequency of the link must be in the 1.7 GHZ range. The channel bandwidth is 200 KHZ .As i understand a multiplex signal 0..57 KHZ coming from the fm-station must be digitized ,encoded and fed to a digital transmitter in the 1.7 GHZ range .Can anyone point me to the way it is done ?.What companies are producing such links and what coding is used ?.
