is there any constrain on the formula of inductance calculation of coaxial cable ie
L=u/2*pi log(D/d)
should D be >> d?
L=u/2*pi log(D/d)
should D be >> d?
According to my theoretical electrical engineering text book it's an exact solution. The conductor's inner inductance is neglected however.
