Problem with rectenna output power

时间:04-08 整理:3721RD 点击:
Hi everyone,

I've got a microstrip patch rectifying antenna (rectenna) for 2.45GHz power transfer - fairly standard stuff, just a rectangular patch with a small inset microstrip feed to get it matched to 50Ω. It's got a matching network that interfaces to an RF schottky diode, but no matching at the output side of the diode...

...I've tried connecting the output to an LED, a resistor and a capacitor - none of them give me any voltage at the output. I've tried connecting the antenna to a 20MHz scope, and I can see any voltage at all across the diode, but I can connect the rectenna to a spectrum analyser and see a -15dBm peak (for about 23dBm broadcast power 30cm away)

So, my question is ... WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!? Why can't I get any useful power out of this very simple device?

I'm working to a deadline, so any help would be *really* appreciated...

Thanks,
________
Agronski.

Have you simulated this rectenna in any software?
How have u simulated a diode or a capacitor?
I actually want to know the dimensions of the
diode or the capacitor....pl upload the simulation file
if any and tell me the physical dimensions of the capacitor

Also from where did u get the capactor or other components
for a range of 2.4GHz
Pl help
Thanks

Can anyone help me making rectenna?
I want to make a rectenna from beginning and I want to know how to start from beginning, designing it, and get the output voltage?

Anyone can hep me will be really appreciated...., I really need help for this..

Thank you...
