input supply voltage!

as you can read in the datasheets, the maximum absolute input voltage for all of those devices is 35 V. The minimum input voltage has to be at least 2 V higher than the output voltage you want, since 2 V is the drop-out of the 78xx series. Be careful not to exceed the maximum permissible dissipation

does the input to 7805 should be DC ranging from 2V to
35V! am i right!

sorry dude,in the DATAsheet u given,the maximum voltage for 7805 is 35V! not 24V
.check it urself!
