In addition to those books you might try the following website for examples of FDTD code http://www.cemtach.com/reference/sof.../ToyFDTD1.html. Also go to matlab central (http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/) and type "fdtd" into the search box. You will find a number of matlab m files for implementing the method in 1, 2 and 3 dimensions. I suggest that you try to understand the 1D code first before working your way onto the 2D and 3D codes.
