Hi, I have a simple question about the input matching of RF amplifier.
If the amplifier has medium gain (about 15 dB), but bad input matching (about -3 dB), what is the impact of it to the whole RF system?
Since about half of the power is reflected back to the input path, does the bad input matching increase the RF coupling, and reduce the system stability?

no problem. For linear amplifier, the input matching is always for linearity, not conjunate matching.
