How do I calculate the self-resonance frequency of an air core inductor? Text references?

Hi Vfone,

The link is for the lead inductance of a capacitor to calculate capacitor SRF.
I'm looking for the inductor SRF. I'm "guessing" that the capacitance value of an air core inductor would have something to do with capacitance between turns.

To find the stray capacitance, you can read the article at the link:

Then, using the proposed simplified model, I think you can estimate:

SRF = 1/(2π√LC)
