Feed Networks for antennas

Hi,

Can anybody please provide me information or provide me the link where I can get details on Feed networks, different types, series, parallel, stripline, microstrip feeds, proximity couples feeds, aperture coupled feeds ?

It depends mostly on two things. What is the frequency and how far away is the antenna from the transmitter.

For large distances coaxial cable is almost universally used. For short distances, such as the antenna being mounted on the PC card with the active electronics micro strip is used.

One additional thing is that in some systems with long separations and microwave frequencies, the transmitter is placed very near the antenna and is controlled remotely.
