range frequencies for wlan

Hi all..im designing patch antenna for wlan application,im confused about range frequency for wlan ,so i want to know what is exactly range frequency for wlan application.

actually,i just want to know,whether 2.8 ghz and 4.8 ghz are also including in the range WLAN frequecies.For your information im designing patch antenna with range frequency from 2ghz until 6ghz.As i know that the range frequency are use for wlan application.The problems are my design antenna just have better return loss for that frequencies which are 2.8 and 4.8 ghz.So i want to know what is exactly application for this frequency.
