hi,
i am calibrating full 2-port from 3400-4200MHz using 85052D cal kit(3.5mm calibratin constants-SMA).
the insertion loss of the device is 0.33dB when measured in Agilent-N5230C (i got 0.14dB IL in Anritsu-37247A instrument). how it can be corrected?
the settings are
IF Bandwidth : 1KHz
Averaging factor: 1
No of points: 201

calibrated with same cables?

calibrated with same cables, also the adapter
Measure a THROUGH and see which gives a reasonable insertion loss!
If you did the right calibration just trust Agilent and forget Anritsu.

yes, the calibration with the agilent instrument was correct. we measured uncertainity/error value of both the instruments from an application engineer. It was around 0.15dB in ANRITSU instrument, so the difference was corrected.
