tapered transmission line

Hi guys,

I wanted to lean more about taper transmission line design. Pls share any good information tht could give a head start. Im having ADS tools bt i dont know hw to simulate the taper TL in ads. Hope i could get some help here thanks

under transmission line use the element taper.

You can then export to layout and can do further modifications after "flatten" operation.

... and after the flatten you can simulate it in EM with momentum tools

you simply have to insert 2 "single port" and define the substrate definitions.

After this you could see the comparison between em simulation and circuital simulation done by ADS
