Radar targets with certain distribution

Hello every one,,
I'm asking about how to use function like raylrnd in Matlab to generate a model for radar targets,,,
raylrnd function generates random numbers with rayleigh pdf, how can i use this pdf?

Hi lord,

Rayleigh distribution medelizes fluctuating targets with Swerling models 1 and 2.
A call to raylrnd(S) returns the amplitude of a signal from a target whose radar cross section is proportional to S^2.
