Help - microwave noise generator design needed.
I work for a company based in Spain, we have several point to point microwave links for video over IP, and we need to assess their EMC immunity.
I want to build a high-power broadband noise generator, possibly based on a spark generator, or perhaps an impatt or gunn diode. Does anyone have a a design for such a device?
Cheers,
Kev.
Hi,
Some ideas...

I remember on HP & Alpha Semi too as noise diode? producer...

You are joking, right? Go out and buy a professional signal generator instead of mickey mouseing around.
