please help me in reconfigurable antenna stimulation

Could you give me some ideas on which software I should use in stimulating following paper(IE3D, FEKO or HFSS?)

2. How to draw that cross slot on infinite ground plane using IE3D?Could you teach me in detail?

Not possible. So you need to treat it as another layer and move forward.

You mean that the paper was stimulated by ADS?

That means I need to draw a cross shape pattern on another layer, with permittivity of air? That layer on the pattern should have same thickness and height with the ground?


Actually I am a undergraduate student in Hong Kong and a beginner of antenna design. I have IE3D, FEKO and IE3D.

You need to defined the bottom as Air and model this cross in the AIR-dielectric interface.

I used IE3D long back but i know it can be done with IE3D and FEKO too.
