Does someone know what type of this element?

As different devices can use the same package a device usually has to be identified by inference from the components around it. With no other information my guess would be an RF transistor.

its gonna either be a MMIC or a GaAsFET
As Keith said that could be told by surrounding cctry .....
Show us a pic of more of the cct.

As far as the C8 marking goes couldnt find anything in my SMD device listings
that would be an MMIC of GaAsFET as that device obviously is
all C8 listings were for diodes or GP transistors in totally different packages

Trying to find device type from the code on them is very difficult. I have spent hrs and hrs online and often without success
Often the same marking is used my multiple manufacturers for many different types of devices :(

It may be a monolithic RF Amplifier.Because two wide pins are connected to ground that is used particularly in SMD Monolithic RF Amplifier Package...
