sat signal finder shematic
I need a help to design and build a circiut for this project.
I want it to be digital.
the circuit will be place between the out put of the LNB and a user's decoder.
LED may be use to detect signal strenght.
Here is a basic schematic of a Satellite Finder. You can replace the galvanometer with a digital controlled voltmeter.
good starting point for my project.
I have to study it and see if it reguire any modification.
But please I would have love to use two diferent color LED for indicating the signal strenght wrt the position of the dish.

yes,but without any details...
more than 1 months i am trying to construct it...
when we deal with micro waves ,ordinary components,eg.capcitors,inductors...dont work
i study waveguide,stripe line,planar circuit..
if i were succeed i should say here againfhanks.
You have to realize that such a detector will "detect" any satellite you point it at in this frequency band. You may end up perfectly pointing the antenna at the wrong satellite. To make sure you are pointing it at the right one, you have to do some sort of demodulation!
