Mircostrip antenna design. NEED HELP!

Can You All please guide me how to build a microstrip antenna? It is better Steps by Step, cos i am quite weak or stupid !

1) How to decide the size of patch, substrate and feed?
2) what components should i prepare?
3) How to build the antenna
4) By using what software to test the antenna!

The size of the patch depends upon the frequency of operation. Hey, u can refer antennas by Balanis, u can find step by step procedure for designing patch antenna and for advance u can refer "microstrip antenna design handbook" -artech house

for simulation u can use IE3D or Ansoft hfss or Ansoft designer.

as far as i know you cant open HFSS model in Ansoft Designer
