Receiver system level design
I am in the first time to design a Receiver system by using Simulink. The frequency is quite low, 400MHz.
Please, give a advice. Should I replace Simulink with another, please suggest?
In order to refer, any source is welcome.
Thanks,

Hi all,
It is not funny due to no help from you, however, I figured out how to verify a design at system level.
Normally, the certain way is using Simulink for general purpose. For the RF design, the better is using the ADS of Agilent. Somebody also suggests to use AWR.

for system level, you can use syscal, free software, to design.
Hi Tony,
Do you have any brief of syscal?
I can not see it in Google.
Thanks,
tdf.
The best thing is to make your own Excel spreadsheet to do a cascaded analysis. That way you know what is actually going on. The equations are straight forward!
But if you like fancy colorful graphics, here is a simple graphical program (mystic lite) that is free for smaller circuits:
MicroWave System Calculator ?
They do not list it, but it seems to work with Window 7 just fine.
