Need suggestion regarding Radar Simulation

Hello everyone!

I have been assigned by my Professor a task and I need to come up with a new radar design....and I need to show some kind of improvement in the new design when compared to the traditional radar....I need to design a radar which has to simulate a Marine Radar Environment....Can anyone suggest me how to begin and how to proceed....and what kind of language should I use ?

I have started designing the conventional marine radar by using Simulink....and am done with the txer design....

you can use ADS (Advanced Design System) or AWR to simulate your RADAR project.
Also you can use Matlab to write your own code.
