hi, i designed UHF rfid tag antenna (860Mhz-960Mhz) which is a meandered half wave dipole antenna on FR4. As it needs balanced signal at its input to measure the input impedance etc. of this antenna. VNA provides unbalanced signal. I am confuse how do I make a balun or any measuring structure with which I can provide balanced signal to it.
Anybody solved this problem please help me. thanks

You should avoid current floating on the braid of your coaxial cable .
This can be done by placing ferrite beads on your coaxial cable , just make sure that the ones you are using have enough resistance on the desired frequency .
Our you can make a quarter wave sleeve balun .
A sleeve balun make a short circuit a quarter wave away from the load .
hi lambdaanttech, thanks for your comments. Have u designed quarter wave sleeve balun by yourself? Because I need help.
