Hello everyone,
I have a conceptual question about baluns. First, though, I'll give a brief background for the application:
I have an antenna (curtain quad) that I designed in FEKO with a 200 ohm input impedance. In FEKO, I used a very short line souce between the two arms of the input of the antenna. The impedance is calculated to be 200 ohms from the port (I assume this is differential impedance).
That in mind, I need to design a balun to match a 50 ohm unbalanced microstrip port to a 200 ohm balanced load. I'm considering this type of topology: https://www.edaboard.com/thread154847.html
So here is the question: would I transform the 50 ohm line to two 100 ohm lines and connect these to the antenna, since 200 ohms differential is the same as two 100 ohm loads to ground? Or would they be two 200 ohm lines? If it is the latter, I'd imagine 200 ohm microstrip lines would be difficult to realize...
Thanks for any advice!

Its a 2 100ohm lines which u consider to give a differential impedance of 200ohms..
