solve ports only on Hfss 12
I have a problem using the Option solve ports only on Hfss 12. Actually the design is validated and the when i want to simulate the design by pressing on analyse all it dosent work. anyone has any idea ? Thanks
hi pls attach u file how other can help and find error with out seen the antenna??
Actualy its an Hfss question and no need to attach my design .i just want to know how can i use the solve ports only option on Hfss 12. Thanks
Hi Carole,
I personally use the solve ports only in HFSS to find the right size of my waveports and prevent higher modes propagation. Often at microwaves you have to deal with these higher modes.
I advise you to take a look at the HFSS user's guide for this port analysis.
Hope it helped a bit,
JB
Hi Carole,
What says jiboune256 is true if you allow the solver for more than 1 mode. It is on the settings of the waveport.
So if you need to see of higher modes propagate, do not forget to increase the number of solved ports.
thank you guys i know all of this but my question is how to simulate this port on HFSS. Thanks
as ferdows said above, you should then post your project to get a clear answer ...
Good morning,
Actually the problem is about using the solve ports only in HFSS, the design is validated on HFSS then when i want to simulate the design, the analyse all option is hidden automatically and i can not press on it and there is no problem with the design itself. Can i get some guidelines please or snapshots to help me for this port analysis.
Thank you.
hi
i understand nothing from u text i said at first to u and all people ask help in this site PLS PLS PLS send u file before ask question if u know u problem better us so way u ask this so u can solve it by u self
- "Waveguide ports must be aligned with Cartesian coordinate planes" error
- Adding ports to know resistance at some point in 2-patch antenna
- [CST DS] Six ports Combination Using Couplers
- Cascading networks with >2 ports
- How many ports (min and max) ports a SIW antenna can have ? and why?
- Interdigital lines As input or output ports
