Help needed regarding via ports and variables in MWO

Hello, I am a new user of MWO so I need some assistance I have two questions
1, How can I feed the antenna with via port, there is an example in AWR where a patch antenna is designed with via port but I couldn't understand how he used it, because the option for via port in my antenna design is still disabled although I tried to follow the example.
2, Can we use the variables while we are working in EM structures, I know we can do it in Schematic, but I prefer working in EM structures, so what is the way to define variables in EM structure so that I can optimize my design.
