DIPOLE ANTENNA design 0.7-3GHz

By it's a design principle, a dipole is a smallband antenna.

The closest thing to a "dipole" for a big continuous bandwidth would be something like a spiral antenna.

The key is that the physical geometry keeps changing, so there is no one length where the antenna is "half-wavelength" long.

Other types are biconical, etc.

if you want design wide band dipole antenna
design as bowtie or biconical antenna

dipole antenna has narrow band properties and i think microstrip dipole never useful for your application usually for this band used spiral or log periodic antenna and vivaldi

i never designed antenna with ADS or ansoft designer because there are not full wave software and not 3D and i dont know how design antenna with them
