Hello,
I just started working with the new library umc65nm,
I will work in 90GHz in millimeter waves,
I need to know:
1) how to recognize which kind of MOS, CAP, or Resistor should I use?
2) can I change the W and L of the capacitors or resistors to have the desired value?
3) for the inductor, the library has no inductor, how can i manage to create an inductor in my design?
Regards

Dear mitra
I dont know the answer of your first question
but for second and third I think microstrip ones are good solutions.for example spiral inductor and interdigital capacitors maybe give you the desired value
A word of caution regarding point 3.
Although it really depends on the inductance value you need, be aware that spiral inductors have low Q-values especially at 90 GHz. Make sure that it is okay for your application. Transmission line inductors or meandered line inductors may be better at these frequencies because their size is small for a required inductance value, and Q-factors are high.
