Hi all, I would like to simulate a single fed RHCP for GPS purposes using 2 pairs of truncated corner on a patch antenna. Resonant frequency at 1.5GHz and using ceramics as a substrate. However having trouble determining the height of substrate and ground plane. I have read Microstrip Patch Antennas by Kai Fong Lee, however I was wondering are there any books to recommend on the design equations specifically to using 4 truncated corners on a patch antenna or using meander lines . Appreciated any advice .Cheers
hi i think more information in microstrip books by james and another book by Bahl
u can choose FR-4 for your substrate by 1.6 mm heighten
Ok thanks alot will try to source for them
