Designing an amplifier, need help using ADS

I'm working on an LNA in ADS 2009, with no prior experience with ADS. I have a transistor model with impedance matching networks at the input and output of the transistor, with 50 ohm terminations at the ends of the matching networks. I want to measure the VSWR at the input and output of the transistor (between the transistor and the input and output matching network, respectively). There's a VSWR output variable in the s-parameter simulation palette, but it seems like it only measures the VSWR at the input and the output ports of the entire amplifier, which I don't think I want. I also need the reflection coefficients between the transistor and the impedance matching network on both sides of the transistor. Anyone know what to do? Thanks.

Also, while I'm at it, is there a really comprehensive ADS 2009 tutorial or manual for absolute beginners anywhere? Most of the ones I've found don't really help much.

Never mind, figured it out.

Can you elaborate your solution a bit? This might be interesting for other people as well.

Sure. Under the component palette "Probe Components" there's a component called SP_Probe. It measures the S_parameters looking to the left and to the right of the component. I put one of those between the input matching network and the input of the transistor, and another one between the output matching network and the output of the transistor. S11 at the left and right terminals of the input probe and left and right terminals of the output probe are Gamma_S, Gamma_in, Gamma_out, and Gamma_L, respectively. From these I was able to write equations for VSWRin and VSWRout in a data display page.

Many thanks! This way, when people with the same problem search the forum, they'll find an answer, rather than the same question. Thank you for making the time to come back and write the post.
