HFSS Gain Reference Units

I have a manufacturer's data sheet that posts HFSS results for the antenna's gain. The output is similar to https://www.edaboard.com/attachments...-gain_7283.jpg
I use CST's MWS and am trying to verify my results by matching them to the HFSS results. Gain in CST is 1.375 dBi. Gain in the data sheet is 3.5 dB. I'm trying to account for the difference and was curious if HFSS references gain in dBd. If so the dBd to dBi conversion of 2.15 dB would account for the difference.
Can any HFSS users comment on the gain units? I've looked in the user's guide http://www1.ansys.com/customer/conte...User-Guide.pdf but didn't find any useful info.
Thanks
