Regarding the supplier for white laser beam

I am in need of white laser beam for my application. Can anyone tell me the laser beam instrument suppliers in india? Please tell me know.

If you understand what "laser" means, you understand there is no such thing as a white laser.

If it's white, it's not a laser. If it's a laser, it won't be white (and no, technology advances won't change that).

You may refer to "RGB lasers" instead. These are a combination of three lasers using selective beam splitters, of course the beam quality can't compete with a single laser.

I assume the original poster is looking for a Krypton/Argon ion laser but I don't know where you would buy one in India. I have deleted the useless posts. biff44 and davenn - if you don't know what a white laser is then look it up.

Multi-line ("white") laser diodes don't exist.

My application is spot light to line light conversion. laser beam is fed to the Optic fibre cable and the output of optic fibre cable is the line light.
Line light should be pure white like tubelight. For that i am asking the white laser pointer to fed into the optic fibre cable. Any recommendation from your end for this application will be useful for me to do. Single line laser diodes are available? will it suits for this application. can you give some ideas on this?

Besides krypton ion lasers as mentioned by Keith, that are rather heavy and expensive instruments, RGB laser modules combining multiple diode or other solid state lasers are available. As a reference see http://www.cnilaser.com/PDF/RGB-635.pdf

Chinese manufacturer cnilaser also offers a large portfolio of single color laser modules.

I had seen the datasheet. In that, we had 7 kinds of color, such as red, orange,yellow, green, indigo, blue, purple. There is no white light laser seen. will this white light laser is possible to get? Please let me know.

I want to share one thing....I am from display background....in case of displays ....the Red, Green and Blue subpixel consititues on pixel which gives out white color out based on combination of R G B colors light output from subpixel.....but here it is non-coherent light sources ....... So In my view you should get the same behavour for lasers( coherent light sorcures) too....

If you get clear white depends mainly on the ability of adjusting the individual R, G and B intensity. The datasheet isn't quite clear about it, you may want to ask cnilaser.
