I've not looked at the page in detail, so I was not. But just as a general comment, material written by hams about antennas is often of doubtful value.
I would not attach much credibility to things published by the ARRL. I remember one American telling me "A typical project in QST now is how to make a 12V 1A power supply using a 7812 voltage regulator".
As for the "other publications", I don't know what they are, so can't comment.
I recently wrote to the RSGB's letter's page about how they review antennas. Comparisons are made with an S-meter, with comments like "Antenna X is better than antenna Y by 3 S-points". I suggested at the very least they could have used a stepped attenuator to make comparisons, or better still a measuring receiver. I'm pleased to see they took my advice and for the first time I know of, a review of an antenna did make reference to a stepped attenuator.
I'm very unimpressed with the antenna articles in ham magazines.
Welcome to the Antenna Theory Website
seems a pretty good site. It appears the person running the site does actually know about antennas.

Please do not confuse my 'note of caution' with harshness; perhaps a recalibration of the 'PC' meter is required, or removal of a preceding stage or two to keep it out of saturation? Limitless repetition does not make something 'right' nor does simple agreement by a majority ... for instance, read about what Einstein went through in his battle with the 'majority' of physicists of his day in getting his theory or Relativity accepted ...

Jim
PS I also did not see a presentation of the 'Roberts' BALUN so I do not know how complete John's work is on the overall body of BALUNs.
