i am designing square patch antenna, but i could not find equation for that.
please give me sourece?

There should be some emprical equations in Balanis' antenna book. You start with those equations and make tailoring on your design in an EM software.

okay...i found that and got all dimension of antenna. but can you please help me how to measure bandwidth of that antenna which i made.
and also i wanna simulate that in MATLAB. can you provide me matlab GUI file for u-slot square patch antenna.

To measure the bandwidth, you can look at a passive measurement by using the return loss of the input to the antenna. Once your return loss gets 3dB worse than it's nominal, you could roughly interpret that your 3dB bandwidth.

For a more correct measurement of bandwidth, you'd need to run an EM solver to calculate your antenna's far-field performance. Then, you'd determine your bandwidth by looking for the frequencies that yielded a (3 dB?) reduction in gain (-3 dB = half-power). That analysis requires an application like ADS Momentum, HFSS or Microwave CST. Matlab probably won't get you there, unless you are solving the far-field equations directly. If that's the case, then you should have been able to answer these questions yourself
