I want to interface a gas sensor to aduino board wirelessly. But it is not possible without RF. So, can I connect the sensor to RF transmitter directly and connect the RF receiver to arduino board OR I have to use a Mc(probably 8051) betn sensor and RF transmitter? OR is there any other way(good if simpler ) to do it? Please tell.
Here is one example...
Analog input transmitters...
Point Six Wireless - PointSensorANA-5V
Point Six Wireless - ANALOG 900
Receivers....
Point Six Wireless - New Wireless IO

and google finds more...
for on/off alarm signals use rf radio control modules
It largely depends on the gas sensor. Can you post or upload the gas sensors' datasheet?
There are Wireless modules available which provide basic Digital I/O and ADC without the use of a microcontroller.
