Would like to modify a schematic i found

all the info i am referring to is on page one, i would like to know if i would be able to switch out the 9v battery with a battery for a hearing aid, and if a stronger speaker is recommended or not. the range that i'm looking to achieve is between 25ft-30ft (8-10 meters). also if it is possible would you happen to know about how long the battery would last and on average when i should replace it. these are the modifications that i'm looking for but if you see any room for improvement please let me know. any help is well appreciated. there's a whole bunch of 9V ones there .... specifically which one did you want to modify?
and why ?
since there's a whole bunch of 3V ones there as well, just use one of those ccts
smaller type battery is going to significantly reduce its operating time

A hearing aid battery may not even be able to supply enough current to operate. And if it could the transmitting range would be very short, like maybe a meter or two. I would say no.
My mom is constantly losing this one trinkets that my farther left her so I was going to try to help her not lose it
There are inexpensive 'lost item locator' gizmos available. Frequently used to attach to your keychain.
Some beep when you press a radio control unit. These are more expensive.
Others beep when you whistle a certain pitch, or sequence of tones. You need to be at a close distance for this type to work.
I've look at all those and none are small enough. The space I have to work 2" x1/4" x1/8"
well you are not likely to build one smaller than the commercial ones unless you are an electronics whiz with access to a well equipped RF design workshop and the knack of Japanese miniaturisation
