Ads basics demokit_nonlinear

hey I started using ADS. As I include library demokit_nonlinear one additional pallete appears in schematic window with same name.
It too has resitors capacitors inductors etc.
I just want to know how are they different from lumped component i was using before?
All I could find was that I cannot change certain values in demokit_nonlinear elements.

Also I have seen that I have to include demo kit tech include component to run simulation. why is that?

Being as in its name."Design Kit" so it belongs to certain technology,certain process so special.
That's why you can not play as you wish..
Yes you have to put "include" block to make identifying the components to ADS...
