AS3992 Long Range UHF RFID reader

I need UHF reader for reading a big number of tags simultaneously ,
Can the AS3992 chip do this task ?
What the maximum number of tags , that the AS3992 can read simultaneously

Effectively unlimited, based on the ISO 18000-6 collision arbitration algorithm. Of course sequentially, after isolating individual tags in the communication.

Right now I am in hardware selection phase , for our product , before I am start digging in protocol document
I would like to know, for example.

If I take the for example the this reader http://www.soliddepot.com/index.php?...products_id=27
And put 20 tags in reader ranger (the reader turned off), and after that will activate the reader .
Does the reader find all 20 tags ?

Sorry for stupid questions . I am newbie in RFID , and just now trying to decide if I can use for my purpose .
