what is the meaning of monopole characterictic in any antenna? I have seen many papers which say monopole antenna but I don't know how to check this characteristic if the antenna is monopole or not. So kindly tell me what is monopole antenna

So, monopole antenna is half of the dipole antenna, with right ground.

it means piece of conductive sheet up to 4λ and plus your monopole λ/4.
