Filter Inductor and capacitor value for DC source

Hi,

Im going to use DC adaptor source in my project,how to choose filter inductor and capacitor value for DC adaptor (12VDC) source input section.

Adaptor Input :100 to 230VAC 50- 60Hz
Adaptor Output: 12VDC / 2A
