Design of a low power crystal oscillator in the 30MHz and 50MHz range

I am have some basic analog design background, but haven't built any oscillator circuit before. I am trying to build an oscillator circuit with the following requirements:
1. A single oscillation frequency somewhere between 30MHz and 50MHz.
2. Low power, and should work between 3.3V and 1.8V
3. The output will drive a RC network with R ~ 300Ohm and C in the range of tens of pF to a few hundred pF.
4. Low cost (meaning no fancy ICs) and stable.
I am considering implementing Pierce crystal oscillation circuit. But I am not sure what kinds of BJT to use here given the above requirements. Also, in terms of requirement #3, do I need a voltage buffer between the RC network and the oscillator output?
