Improving efficiency in plasma antenna

what is plasma antenna? what are all the advantages and disadvantages over it? my project isreconfigurable monopole antenna using fluoroscent lamp with plasma window...instead of using fluoroscent lamp,, is there any possibility of using anyother?

is there any possibility for implementing plasma antenna in hardware?
