I am using ADL5523 (LNA) for matching to 50 Ohms. They have 3-port s-parameter data as follows :
Description of VPOS - Supply Voltage. DC bias needs to be bypassed to ground using a low inductance capacitor. This pin is
also used for output matching
And finally,
--
My question is : Can you convert this 3-port S-parameters to 2-port S-parameters and then convert these 2-port S-parameters to 2-port Z-parameters and finally find Zin from Z-parameters ?
Also, what does "VPOS = 3V to 5V" imply in Figure 1 ?
Thanks.

Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
But you can calculate Zin directly from 3-port S-parameters.
Do you have any simulator which can treat n-port box ?
Or do you have MATLAB with RF-Toolbox ?
Drain or Collector bias voltage.
Presuming matched termination of port 2 and 3, you can simply convert S11 to Zin. In real live, port 2 is shorted, so Zin will slightly change. Port 2 termination mostly affects output impedance, so the difference might be negligible.
