i want to know the how to find the length and width of ground plane for printed monopole antenna case?

length of the monopole ground counts but i dont think width is. please refer to link below.

I read few research papers of printed monopole which focuses on LTE 700 MHZ band. It use ground plane dimension ( length = 94mm and width is 60mm ) with a substrate 4.4 and thickness 0.8 mm.
from formula the ground plane should be near 53 mm.

Ground plane and dielectric have the same size.

Typicaly the size of ground plane and dielectric is twice the size and length of the patch.

Example :

If you create a patch antenna with a length of 30 mm and a width of 20 mm, your ground plane will be 60 mm for the length and 40 for the width.

Furthermore, you can try to tune the size of the dielectric and the ground plane to obtain your main goal.

I know how to make the shape of printed monopole for specific frequency. what will be the size of ground plane that's i am not sure.

i think there is no specific size for the ground plane but usually the ground plane is nearly twice the size of the shape monopole (patch antenna).

Does the OP ask about a patch antenna? Don't think so but unfortunately he didn't clearly tell about the intended antenna type.
