Transistor BSIM3 in ADS
I am new to ADS,
I need to design the circuit that is in the attached file(fig. 1 )
I need to use the transistor BSIM3 Model((cmosn018 and cmosp018)) , But unfortunately, I cant get it
in ADS(2009)!
Please, I have a question about the difference between the two transistors in ( Fig. 2).
Need your help,
Many thanks to you in advance.
The ultra-simple mosfet icon is easy to draw quickly in a rough draft, where you don't need to be fussy over specific details such as arrow directions, or what polarity you're driving the gate, etc..
Or which type a device will finally be, whether N or P.
Left generates MOSFET instance.
Right generates MOSFET model desription.
See ADS netlist.
Dear BradtheRad and pancho_hideboo,
First of all, thank u for ur reply,
As I wrote before, I have the design shown in fig 1.,
which transistor I should use? Left or right?
what about Process parameters of 0.18um? it is not found in ADS!
what can I do?
Thanks
Models for different process technologies are available in the "design kits". These are libraries for that specific process.

Your ADS version is very old, and does not support the new ADS design kits. It will be difficult to find ADS 2009 design kits for your technology.
Don't use unfamiliar abbreviation such as "u" and "ur".
Both are required.
Surely see ADS netlist and understand it.
This is true for any SPICE type simulator.
Prepare Model parameters of SPICE Syntax or ADS Syntax.
