Really the Best Freeware EM program for patch antenna?
but there is no any final answer?
Which one is really simpliest or easier to use patch antenna program which can
produce RF current density on a given patch without to much complications?
Of course program must have windows version because i use windows.
thanks in advance!
3 Best software:
1) ADS momentum (easy to work with)
2) HFSS -> THE BEST ONE
3) CST -> faster
I would go HFSS :)
The question was about freeware EM simulators.
The cost of ADS + HFSS + CST is almost equal to the cost of a Lamborghini full loaded
I am not aware of any "full-options" freeware EM simulator but you can use the lite versions (freeware) of some expensive EM simulators:
https://www.sonnetsoftware.com/products/lite/
http://www.feko.info/download/releas...-download-feko
or use the time limited (30 days) of:

without any doubt the BEST FREE sw is the Sonnet lite. But it is limited in the size of an object to be calculated.
There is an NEC program that people use on antennas a lot. Not sure how supported it is now that NEC is out of business.

Thank you guys for replay!
Bot no one of you dont put me in right direction.
open e emco is as 64bit software...
i have found some strange programs for patch antennas and nost of them
require complicated download of python and other complex dll-s to work with
them like maxFEM for example..
Sonetlite looks simple but you simply cannot design any real antenna in this program or get
current density for ordinary rectangular patch...so that about sonrtLite.
FDTD Antenna Solver i forund on SourceForge bet simply there is no file to download ?
emGine 32 bit version have bugs and not work --also strange.
So PLEASE...
I would like to know some about 32bit windows freeware or opensource programs which can
use almost anyone( i mean with some knowlege about antennas )
Really onece again thnks in advance
PS.Really would be nice to have a list of links to such a programs
But programs which work.
It's possible, if you really want ...

But as you already found out, easy to use, robust, free EM software is not easy to find. Those EM tools that work well and handle well are usually not free.
Yes not easy to found ,but there are some programs but not work
or are without download link?
Also there are few or better to say more than 5 methods how you can do that
and that give real results..
sonnet lite if FREE and EASY TO USE. I would def start there!
I have some fancy software here, and still use sonnet once in a while.
which software? if I may ask?
There was FEKO Lite before but i don't know if it still exists since Altair acquired the company.
I use comsol multiphisics. But HFSS or CST would work.
ok but they not freeware or open source
