How to mount RF substrate into a Al housing for making an RF module

Apart from fixing with screws, what are the other ways to attach RF PCBs (e.g. RT duriod 5880) into a aluminum box for creating an RF module?

Using paste solder to fill up cavities around the Gnd connections; but it depends on the Transmission Line structure which you are using(depending on how you get your ground)

I have seen PCBs with 5880 glued onto an aluminium carrier. I think they use the same concept as Rogers describes here for multilayers: https://www.rogerscorp.com/documents...-Materials.pdf

You probably want the AL housing plated with something....like copper/nickel, maybe with a gold or solder flash on top.

Then you can either epoxy the board in (ablebstick makes a sheet of silver conductive epoxy that you can cut to the dimension of your inside housing), or solder it down.

You could just glue it down to the AL bare surface, but it will not be a good DC electrical connection if you are using active devices. For that matter...even grounding via holes need a good electrical contact to work. MOST conductive epoxies will NOT adhere properly to a raw aluminum surface.
