I 'd like to write some FDTD codes in c++ concerning the EM wave propagated from free space to plasma. Now I meet some trouble that i don't know how to set the parameters of the source pulse ,e.g i set pusle= sin(2*pi*f*T)*exp(-0.5*(pow((t0-T)/spread,2.0))) . Can you please help me on how to set the parameters t0、spread when f =500thz ?
