[IE3D] (to Mr. Jian) slot-type dipole antenna in THz !

hello. Mr. Jian.

i've simulated two kinds of antenne which are metallic-dipole and slot-dipole in GHz. And results are reasonable. :D

And i also tried similar simulation at THz region. of course, i scalied up to 1000 times. As my expectation, metallic-dipole in THz showed similar Z11 graph as GHz.

But, in the case of slot-dipole in THz, solver error appeared.

could you explain about this plz~ ?

I checked your file and I am able to duplicate the problem. I will have it checked. It should be an-easy-to-fix problem because it seems to me the problem is related to the limited word length of double, etc. Thank for the reporting. Regards.

The problem is resolved and the fixing will be available on IE3D 12.05. In the meantime, you can set the conductivity of the ground plane to some high value to avoid it. For example, if you set sigma = 1.0e+15, you will be able to solve the structure.
