EM software for parallel / cluster computing

I need an EM software for wide range of applications (university) which can be installed in multiprocessor server(s) and be able to work in SMP as well as in cluster (various solvers). The ideal application would be installed on those computers and accesible e.g. through remote desktop (RDP) under Windows.

I would really appreciate if anyone can share his/her experience with any kind of EM software adressing any of above issues!

u can try HFSS

The FDTD code of Raj-mittra is a parallel FDTD code, but it has two problems. The first is that it is very user NON-friendly and the second is that if you want it to be parallel you will need to use it on linux machines

I suppose Sonnet can do what you need...

1. As said earlier here - HFSS is the best EM software for parallel CPU usage.
It will do the configuration automatically.

2. If you have good license of CST MWS 2006 you can enable the multi CPU option
in the Time Domain and Frequency Domains Solvers.

And also you can make with CST a distributed simulations which uses other computer inside your local network.

but HFSS's license is only limited to 1license / processor. To fully make use of parallel processing, u need more than 1 license.
