Organic Polymer based RFID tags

I wanted to know about the feasibility of Organic Ploymer based RFID tags and what could be its possible advantages. I know that some researches are already going on on Organic Polymer based Antenna and CMOS design. I suppose that in future the tags could just be printed using organic inks and some printer. Then the tags would just cost a few pennies.
